Maintenance Supervisor

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Job Summary:

Directs a team of union maintenance mechanics on the safe, environmentally sound and economically efficient preventative and corrective maintenance of Ready Mix Concrete trucks and associated equipment including front end loaders.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:Provides direction and supervision to 8-10 employees in multiple locations.Ensures Safety and Environmental policies and procedures are adhered to, including training and reporting requirements.Responsible for cost effective preventative and corrective maintenance including diagnosis, repair planning and replacement parts determination.Ensures proper maintenance documentation including repair orders, purchase orders, equipment history, etc.Managerial role includes firing, training, developing, assigning and disciplining employees as well as dispute resolution.Maintain good customer relations both internal and external.Able to prioritize functionsFamiliar with conflict management.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Experience: Position requires management experience first then possible equipment maintenance experience; Mixer Truck knowledge is helpful but not required.  Must have strong leadership skills with a proven track record of success.
