Management Trainee

Metal Management Inc., Northeast is offering career opportunities in metal recycling to qualified individuals with backgrounds in Engineering, Business Management, Administration and Construction.  We are seeking success oriented individuals who possess a strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and are motivated to make a difference.  Some college education preferred, but not required.

The Management Trainee moves throughout the plant learning all operations functions and the management of them.  Training encompasses two areas, Operations and Management. 

 

Operations include overseeing the actual operation or function of a particular job which include, but may not be limited to: Purchasing/Scale; Receiving/Shipping; Production;Maintenance; Demolition.

 

Management to include verbal and written communications; organizational skills; evaluation; feedback; following directions.

 

Incumbent will pay careful attention to ensure that all facilities comply  with safety regulations and that employees are instructed and monitored in the safe operation of all machinery.
