Position Description:

Manager of Institutional Client Billing, Accounts Receivable & Sales Commission processes. Role requires that the associate has the ability to make independent decisions that significantly impact billable revenue and cash flow, thus impacting both internal and external customer satisfaction. This position involves direct facing with clients, thus is a reflection upon Fidelity’s reputation and integrity. In addition, this position will lead the effort to identify and implement system enhancements that will further automate the billing process and strengthen controls.

 

Position Responsibilities:Supervise one Billing Operations Analyst: performance plans (goals, measures, responsibilities, development); performance reviews; coaching, training and directionHands-on management, support and detailed review of monthly and quarterly invoicing; working in partnership with Account Executives by researching, analyzing and resolving escalated issues and complex invoicing rejections/exceptions; maintaining consultative customer focus and providing information to external & internal customers.Interpretation and review of account setup for complex and customized contractual fee agreements for large clients. Requires decision making and direct interaction with relationship and account management to ensure accuracy and adherence to quality controls / procedures.Manage all aspects of the sales commission process, including the interpretation and administration of Sales Compensation Plan documents, supporting Account Executives, as well as Sales Managers, Corporate Compensation and Line Finance.Review of client billed revenue accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.Improve and enhance quality controls by reviewing processes / systems, conducting secondary reviews and identifying changes that are necessary to control risks and improve efficiency, effectiveness and accuracy.Establishing and maintaining strong business partner relationships to enhance, promote and communicate the efforts of the group



Position Requirements:Prior managerial experienceExcellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills as well as ability to make independent decisions and manage projects.Ability to work well independently as well as across the organization while demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skillsWorking knowledge of accounts receivable and revenue accountingStrong Microsoft Office Products skills Experience with large financial systems such as Oracle a plusBachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or accountingAt least five years relevant experience
