Manager Continuous Improvement (Warehouse Operations)

With revenues approaching one billion dollars as we celebrate our 35th business anniversary, our company is looking to add a Manager Continuous Improvement to our Warehouse Operations Team.

 

The Manager Continuous Improvement will be accountable for driving continuous improvement initiatives that deliver ongoing year on year improvement in all areas of TTI Operations relative to quality, cost, and timing results.  This role will be fully accountable for identifying and quantifying various business initiatives, completing business case justification / approval review, project planning and execution, and delivery of committed results that deliver lowest possible cost per transaction at highest possible quality. 

 

Education/Experience required:  Position requires a Bachelor?s degree in related field (e.g. operations, logistics, management, industrial engineering) or equivalent combination of education and experience.)  A minimum of 5-8 years of related experience is required, including inventory management, purchasing, warehousing, logistics, industrial engineering and/or quality including International Standards Organization and Aerospace experience.

 

Additional required competencies/skills include:  Business, managerial, leadership and strategic thinking skills for planning and managing department, staff, budgets, projects, etc;  Organizational skills for organizing programs, people, projects, etc; Oral and written communications skills for communicating, collaborating, and building long term mutually beneficial relationships among all internal and external stakeholders; Inventory management skills for maintaining proper levels of inventory; Negotiation skills for assuring best delivered value of all purchased goods and services; Extensive analytical skills for analyzing strengths and weaknesses of warehouse operations and related areas impacting same; Collaboration skills to encourage teamwork and full cooperation among all stakeholders within the warehouse operations department and throughout the TTI organization; ISO 9001:2000/AS9100 knowledge for ensuring quality standards are met; Demonstrated proficiency and knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications at the intermediate level including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and MS Project; Working knowledge of AutoCAD software;  Ability to learn and assimilate with TTI corporate culture, systems, work processes, and resource management; and Ability to be an effective change agent while driving desired results in the areas of continuous improvement.
