Manager Operations

Responsible for achieving operational performance goals while promoting a positive work environment for associates. Assist in the development of productivity & accuracy standards to achieve quality control/customer service objectives. Implement measures to control levels of damages, errors and mis-picks. Evaluate processes and use innovative thinking to make improvements. Assist the FC Manager in the monitoring of in-stock positions. Help develop and maintain inventory/security controls to prevent shrinkage and shortages. Conduct semi-annual inventories and report results. Establishes business rules, programs system (geotel, kana, egain) and coordinates with changing business needs. Writes detailed routing programs which prioritize service, optimize our staffs talents and minimize expenses. Forecasting volume and needs to the contact and center level for a rolling 12 months (to the day level, rolling 30 days to the intra day level.) Annual budgeting and central planning for all staff, service and training needs.

 

College degree (preferably in Logistics, Business or an industry related field).
Five or more years of experience and working knowledge of fulfillment/distribution systems and processes,productivity standards and technology.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize appropriately.
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communications skills.
Demonstrated practice of exemplary leadership skills, i.e. ability to manage, delegate, train and motivate associates at all levels. Demonstrates solid judgement and ability to prioritize.
Ability to function in a deadline driven environment.
Computer literate (PC and Warehouse Management Systems).
