Role

Conducts supply chain / replenishment planning and execution for the Chilled Supply Chain with a $1.2B cost of goods.
Conducts network planning, plant assignments, product flows, and constraint optimization.
Provides annual network wide, multi-year capacity review / facility plan and provides rationale for capacity additions
Supports new product introduction as active team member, developing short and long term sourcing strategy and capacity requirements
Identifies system wide replenishment costs for AOP, capital projects, and other major financial reviews.

Accountabilities, Key Deliverables and Measurements

Accountabilities

Manager of the planning process for assigned products, packages or juice streams.
Owner of the Tactical Capacity Planning (TCP) tool (after P1Up completion).
Develops and maintains the enterprise wide plan for company selling units from material sourcing through manufacture to shipment to customers.
Insure plans are in place to meet the key company objectives of cost, utilization, customer service and on-time delivery are met.
Interface and focal communication channel between Forecasting & Planning with Plant execution teams, Capital Engineering and the Supply Chain Managers.
Provides understanding and planning against channel specific activities (DSD, Club, etc)


Key Deliverables

1)Constrained SCP / DRP planning (in weekly buckets)
2)DC demand assignment source (sourcing planning)
3)Production requirements run strategy to create an exercisable production plan
4)Finished goods inventory planning (safety stock and target inventory)
5)Capacity planning by production line and by product / package line
6)Constraint identification and option analysis
7)Citrus juice extraction, storage, blending and sourcing strategy
8)Juice preparation (blending, calcium, pulp, ingredient additions, special process) capacity and constraint strategy
9Semi-Finished Goods (SFG) production capacity and constraint strategy
10)Parameter and data maintenance of corporate planning systems
11)Downtime work around plans for production plants and DC?s
12)New Product Offerings ? consult on site selection, develop preliminary start up plans, Manage product discontinuations, develop long-range capacity strategies to support projected volumes.
13)Complete projects / analysis, communicate and gain approval from management stakeholders by effective communication, presentations, and team leadership
14)Lead and manage operational projects (when required)

Measurements

1.Ensure high utilization rates for extraction, storage, blending, packaging and finished goods storage to meet cost targets and true efficiency ratings
2.Meet customer service targets
3.Meet inventory targets that manage out of date, service, and productivity needs.
4.Successful Capacity / Facilities Plan
5.Successful AOP / DBR completion

Skills and Experiences

Education

BS in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related business / management field
MBA a plus
APICS or other Supply Chain training / skill a plus


Experience

5 - 7 years total experience
Experience in planning and decision making, with leadership demonstrated
1 - 2 years focused experience in finished goods planning, scheduling & deployment
1 - 2 years experience with Purchasing, MRP, MPS, DRP, APS or DP systems
2 - 3 years experience with operations, inventory control, or general business
Headquarters and plant experience
SAP R3 / ECC, i2 SCP, and SAP APO experience is desirable
