Manager - Settlements

Your job will entail managing a staff of approximately 24 employees with two direct reports. You will be responsible for running the bank and changing the bank initiatives relating to the Domestic Settlement department. This will include, but will not be limited to, broker to broker trade / ACT fail expediting, buy-ins, DWACs, retail receives and delivers and institutional settlements.

Basic Qualifications
You are a professional with a College Degree or comparable experience. You have 5 - 10 years experience in clearance processing and staff management experience. You possess good managerial and leadership ability. You also have good oral and written communication skills, presentation skills, and the ability to be a team builder. You are technically proficient in all DTCC functionality as well as the rules and regulations pertaining to segregation and control, buy-ins and settlements of the Equity and Municipal and Corporate bond products. You are able to assess processes, recommend solutions and implement changes to improve efficiency. You are proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
