Manager, Treasury Risk Management

Manage PepsiCo's Domestic Casualty Risks including fronting arrangements, excess/umbrella coverage placement, actuarial review (retention analysis), coverage terms and conditions, development of underwriting submission and negotiations. ?Identify exposures, assess and quantify impacts of risk to business. ?Develop and implement strategies to reduce PepsiCo's overall cost of risk.

Manage PepsiCo's captive insurance companies in coordination with Accounting, Tax and Legal. ?Lead SOX compliance activity. ?Manage one full time Finance professional.

Domestic Primary and Global Excess Casualty & Aircraft Risk Financing ?
-Analyze loss data, volatility, accounting and tax implications to support recommended risk financing strategies including retention levels and risk transfer. Evaluate collateral levels and negotiate requirements.
-Understand PepsiCo's claims management processes and mitigation strategies to effectively negotiate insurance. ?
-Renew insurance programs. Manage broker and insurer relationships to implement cost effective insurance programs
-Coordinate coverage between global excess and local casualty programs
-Manage related administrative processes

Captive Management
-Manage day to day operations including funding, regulatory compliance and timely statutory reporting of PepsiCo's captive insurance companies. ?
-Improve captive governance including managing SOX processes. ?????
-Develop agenda, content, and coordinate quarterly captive board meetings
-Collaborate with accounting on issues related to captive financial statements
-Provide cash flow analyses for captive operations to maximize effective return on invested cash
-Identify new risk financing captive opportunities


Financial Planning, Balance Sheet & Accounting Control Structure
-Manage the planning process for PepsiCo's Insurance expense
-Balance sheet liability review and assessment of reserve adequacy
-Develop and maintain PepsiCo's Cost of Risk Model
-Manage division allocation process


Actuarial and Insurance Renewal Process:
-Complete annual actuary process and support FP&A, controller and Tax requirements. ??
-Recommend and implement process improvements to simplify actuary review and improve accuracy of projections ??
-Incorporate actuary results to Cost of Risk Measures and planning process

-Bachelor degree in Economics, Finance or other Business related discipline (or liberal arts background with proven quantitative course experience).
-MBA in Finance
-5+ years of insurance industry experience in a complex operating environment; knowledge of insurance markets, tax and accounting issues, ?mass tort, contract and statutory laws and actuarial sciences
-Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills
-Strong collaboration and communication skills
-High level of systems proficiency
