MANAGER in TRAINING INITIAL ASSIGNMENT: DALLAS COIN

PERMANENT ASSIGNMENT TO BE DETERMINED



The world?s leader in the transportation of valuables and cash processing services has a challenging opportunity for a Manager-in-Training, with an initial assignment to our Dallas, TX coin facility. This position provides an opportunity to work on a variety of operational issues while learning the Brink?s business. Depending on successful individual progression and business opportunities, this position will be placed in a Branch Manager, Operations Manager, or other appropriate ops. management position.



The successful candidate MUST relocate within our operating area, that includes Texas, Louisianna,New Mexico, Utah,Colorado, Arizona, andNevada, within six months following completion of training, with a Company relocation package available. Relocation assistance is not available for this initial assignment.



The successful candidate will undergo up to 12 to 18 months of intense training encompassing all operating departments, in a number of Brink?s facilities. (The training period is dependent on the background of the successful candidate.) Training includes, but is not limited to: product line services; administration; safety and security; transportation and DOT compliance; productivity measures and process improvement; business planning; facility planning; hiring and HR methods; sales and pricing methodology; and vaulting and financial analysis.



Under the general direction of the District Manager, the successful candidate will report directly to a focus manager in the operating facility during training. Details to be discussed at the time of interview.



Position Requirements: We are seeking a high-energy leader, with demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills. You need to: have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; understand and implement safety and security programs: recognize and implement process improvements; understand strategic planning in operations and marketing; knowledge/experience with P&L and general ledger accounting procedures; and have an entrepreneurial orientation. Must possess at least two years of management experience in a transportation, security, or military environment.  P&L and sales experience a plus! Must be computer literate.
