Merchandising Analyst

Company is looking for a Merchandising Analyst.

 

Responsibilities:

~Work with buyers and vendors to forecast and monitor inventory levels.

~Merchandise products on all appropriate websites.

~Coordinate product inventory with website placement.

~Track and analyze results of product placement on websites.

~Monitor competitive marketplace.

~Monitor all inventories for all websites.  Contact vendors and update inventories as needed.  Make adjustments based on rate of sale and seasonality of product.  Communicate with vendors to place reorders, or to discontinue a product when it is sold through.

~Load inventory levels into the inventory system.  Run reports to monitor.

~Input weekly inventories and help manage the 'End of Month' inventory report.

~Create inventory recaps as needed.

~Maintain Purchase Order tracking spreadsheet and follow up on shipping of purchase orders.

~Assist with product set up and making products available/unavailable on the website.

 

Experience Required:
~Bachelor's degree

~2-4 years with inventory management experience is helpful

~Strong proficiency in Excel.

~Internet savvy

~Team player.  Ability to work with all levels of employees across functional areas.

~Strong organizational and multi tasking abilities.

~Self-motivated

~Positive and willing attitude

~Good verbal and written communication skills
