Nortel Hub Regional Services Manager - Sunrise & CALA

 

Responsible for managing the day to day operations of various assigned facilities to ensure the operations, maintenance, and vendor management standards of the contract are met in a cost effective, safe and efficient manner. Works in cooperation with the customer’s management and O&M service subcontractors.  Is responsible for regional facility operations in accordance with approved operating guidelines and budget.  Leads O&M facility staff at multiple sites or a regional group of remote sites.  This role would typically be found on contracts that have a sales volume of over $12 Million and manages a budget of between $5M and $15M. Responsible for regional issues to include management strategy, client relations, team building and other key contractual strategies.

 

PRINCIPLE DUTIES:

 

 Acting as the Johnson Controls Regional representative for communication with the Client on matters relating to their contract

 Geographic responsibility for all contract deliverables, including financial budgets, customer satisfaction objectives and asset integrity

 Setting, monitoring and measuring performance goals and objectives for the Operational, Project Delivery, Portfolio and Support Services Teams

 Providing overall guidance for the development and management analysis of operational plans

 Fostering and developing an environment that is consistent with Nortel’s &Johnson Controls’ Vision, Mission and Values

Directing the quality assurance program and ensuring delivery of the service meets the requirements as set out in the contract, and is in compliance with internal Johnson Controls policies and standard operating procedures

Developing and maintaining positive relations with clients, tenants, building staff. contractors and other employees of the company (team building)



Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience required.

Seven years of facility management or building operations experience required.

Bilingual Spanish or Portguese Required.

Five years of supervisory experience in management, budgeting, vendor management, operations and maintenance required.

May require knowledge of mechanical, electrical Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) or Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems.

Demonstrated leadership abilities and organizational skills.

Demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to manage and train entry-level personnel. 

Able to deal with customers and others at all levels.

Knowledge of JCI procedures and policies.
