The individual in this role will be located in San Francisco, and be responsible for managing the planned growth of the Inside Sales function, including budget, headcount, forecasting and profitability. This position will report to the Senior Director of Operations Effectiveness, and support the Executive Vice President for Inside Sales.
The objective of this role is to provide the Inside Sales team with a clear picture of key profitability metrics, and develop plans and financial models to ensure profitable growth of the organization. The individual in this role will work directly with the global sales managers to gather input on hiring and promotion plans, manage budget allocations, calculating sales compensation and forecasting revenue. This role will also interact with other departments within ServiceSource, including Finance, IT, Outside Sales, Client Care and Marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
? Developing and maintaining P&L models for the inside sales organization, along with forecasts and projections
? Managing headcount planning and reporting, along with sales team performance management
? Assisting sales teams in an analytical capacity, driving better business performance through the use of sales data
? Administering sales compensation, along with sales bonus payout, incentive programs and sales contests
? Leveraging a Business Intelligence reporting platform to build, roll-out and train sales teams on sales reports and tool
? Developing expertise on the sales teams? use of a CRM system, and provide input on enhancements
? Owning and managing projects or parts of large initiatives both on an on-going basis and in an ad-hoc basis.
QUALIFICATIONS
? College degree or equivalent required, preferably with an emphasis on coursework of a quantitative nature, preferably business, economics, mathematics, sciences or engineering.
? 3 ? 5 years of analytical work experience. Financial analysis, sales analysis or operations analysis would be preferred.
? Candidate should have extensive experience in Microsoft Excel
? Excellent written and oral communications skills
? Experience with a CRM (Siebel, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce.com) or Business Intelligence (Business Objects, Cognos, SPSS, SAS, etc) package would be a plus
