OPERATIONS MANAGER - Hands on, customer focused, route based leader!!!

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Become a key leader on a world class service team that helps to drive organizational initiatives. Managing the operations of a route based business to help increase base business, new business and account retention through up selling and delivery of new products and equipment.  This individual must go through certification process of our world class service training program.  The Operations Manager ensures the continued growth and profitability of assigned routes through effective management and ability to quickly build rapport with employees and customers to resolve issues and/or questions regarding products, services or pricing to obtain maximum customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage the overall operations of a multi million route based business 

- Support new and existing sales growth and ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service to our multitude of clients.

- Manage timely delivery of products and equipment to our customers.

- Manage customer service complaints to ensure complete satisfaction. 

- Inventory control management, daily service call routing, equipment inventory management

- Contact with customers, including client surveys and follow up service calls

- Must create a positive work environment and utilize effective communication skills at all levels of the organization.

- Direct Management of warehouse facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- BS/BA degree recommended

- 3 to 5 years of account management and/or management experience

- Ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on inventory and route management, logistics, technical and mechanical experience a plus.

- Customer service, entrepreneurship and strong operational skills required

- Strong Interpersonal communication skills and follow up skills

- Strong decision making and problem solving skills

- Ability to perform in a fast paced environment

 

DESIRED:

- Sales and pricing background helpful

- Purchasing experience needed

- Previous experience in sales and route-based business is preferred

- P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is desirable
