Operational Risk Management Consultant, Senior

Key Role: Develop and serve as the expert on operational risk projects. Identify targets, develop plans and proposals, and ensure the delivery of work related to operational risk in financial services, utilities, or health. Engage in business development and participate in an accounting plan with commercial domain teams. Provide strategic business analysis and consulting to develop a rapidly growing mission assurance service offering. Contribute to market-shaping efforts, including benchmarking, surveys, whitepapers, and seminars. Assess and solve strategic business issues through quantitative and qualitative methods and use business intelligence to interpret market changes. This position requires heavy travel.



Functional/Industry Knowledge:


-5+ years of experience with risk management, business assurance, or risk assurance


-Experience with developing sales documents and market discovery, including benchmarking, surveys, and data analysis


-Experience with market shaping for consulting service offerings through tools, including events and whitepapers


-Experience with risk management consulting and consulting service offering development a plus


-Knowledge of the companies’ earnings drivers and the risks they face, including changes in the competitive landscape


 


Education/Certifications or equivalent required:


MBA degree required
