Position Summary:

 

Act as a facilitator between the materials, manufacturing, engineering, quality and outsourcing departments to insure that MISD?s internal and outsourcing manufacturers produce quality and cost efficient products.  This position will be based in Stafford, TX and support positioning equipment manufacturing from both internal and external suppliers.

 

Essential Functions:

 

Assume a lead role for procurement, production planning and manufacturing management.

Coordinate and manage the repair process for all product lines.

Work in the development of a continuous improvement program that incorporates quality improvements along with cost control and reduction.

Responsible for supporting the Supply Chain activities of our internal and outsourcing partners.

Will be a member of the contact negotiations, supplier qualification and supplier certification teams.

 

Minimum Essential Requirements:

 

5-7 years experience working in manufacturing

New Product Introduction experience

Working knowledge of continuous improvement programs

Experience in MRP/ERP planning Systems

Experience in ISO 9001 environments

 

Minimum Years Related Experience: 3-5

 

Preferred Skills:

 

Computer literate, MS Word and Mapics

College Degree or equivalent experience required
