Operations Excellence Manager

Key Requirements:

-Minimum Experience: Expert in lean manufacturing system including training, planning and implementation of tools;

strong analytical skills and understanding of problem solving tools / methods (six sigma, 8D, QOS or other) and balanced

scorecard goal setting process.

-Five years of lean application and deployment; Two years of Six Sigma experience ? Blackbelt certified preferred;

multi-plant experience; low volume / high mix product experience; strong communication skills and ability to work with

people not reporting directly (matrix organization).

-Bachelors Degree in technical field required; Masters Degree preferred.

-Due to the nature of our business, employee must be either a US citizen or an alien lawfully admitted for permanent

residence.

 

Duties:

-Development / execution of strategic plans for implementation of ELS in facility based upon lean assessment.

-Conduct training needs assessment associated with ELS as required. Develops ELS/Lean/Six Sigma vision for the

operations. -Train and mentor Senior Lean Coordinators. Drive the deployment of ELS to meet operations goals in

areas such as CONC, DOH and ROS. Monitor overall plant performance in ELS and develop plans to meet

operation goals.

-Assist Plant Managers, Operations Managers and Manufacturing Managers and other Operational Excellence personnel in

the development of procedures to maximize output, maintain or improve quality, and reduce overall cost. Lead efforts to

incorporate Six Sigma into the Lean toolkit.
