Principal Duties and Essential Job Functions:

Job Description and Responsibilities: The Managing Director (MD) is responsible for managing all aspects of sales and service delivery for an assigned geographic market for CSC Consulting Group. The position requires an understanding of client service across a broad spectrum of professional services, with a critical focus upon building the client base, maintaining and expanding the firm's involvement with existing clients, and ensuring a high degree of client service and satisfaction. The position will involve balancing and allocating time in six key areas: ? Formulating local market strategies; ? Managing and coaching business development; ? Recruiting and building effective teams; ? High level client relationship management; ? Insuring successful delivery and client satisfaction; ? Inspiring and energizing the local staff This entrepreneurial role is the focal position within CSC Consulting. It requires the ability to manage and lead others. The Managing Director is essentially the ?CEO? for CSC Consulting?s business in that geographic territory and the MD has complete P&L responsibility.

Basic Qualifications:
The Managing Director will serve at a Partner level within CSC Consulting and will report directly to the Regional Vice President who in turn reports to the firm?s North American COO. Each geographic business unit has a defined sales and business development team reporting into the MD?s organization along with local delivery resources. To compete effectively, the geographic business unit draws on the firm?s in vertical industry markets such as Financial Services and Consumer Products & Retail. The National Service Line practices provide specialized management consulting and support specific ERP, Supply Chain Management and CRM solutions. The Managing Director will work closely with these groups and will draw upon their resources as a routine part of competing in a geographic market. The Managing Director will also collaborate and interface with their peers in other divisions of CSC, looking for opportunities to introduce consulting services and bring added value to CSC clients. In this way, CSC Consulting serves local clients with local people, reinforced by firm wide expertise and specific, CSC-unique solutions. Managing Director Qualifications: ? Experience as a Partner / Managing Director / Director/ Principal / Vice President level executive with a Big-5 or other Top-5 (CSC, EDS, Accenture, IBM, CGEY) management consulting firm (s) where goals have been tied directly to revenues and profitability ? A strong sales and sales management background in consulting services with a track record of finding and closing business opportunities across a wide spectrum of consulting solutions ? A strong network of client contacts and positive relationships within the assigned geographic area that includes demonstration of establishing ?trusted advisor? status with client executives ? Demonstrated success in growing a practice, recruiting and developing key staff, and managing 100-200 person, $20MM to $50MM consulting practice operations ? Ability to provide executive oversight in the profitable delivery of services to clients ? Industry, domain area or technical expertise that provides direct relevance to the CSC Consulting business model ? An assertive business persona with unquestioned character and integrity ? A college degree with preference for advanced obtainment in business management. ? An attitude and bearing that conveys positive energy and demonstrates a mentoring example for others to aspire to in the CSC organization Critical Success Factors: This position: ? Demands a proactive business leader that creatively works with vendors, clients and resources at CSC to find new solutions that create repeatable value and revenue stream!
