Operations Information and Research Manager
RaceTrac Petroleum is currently looking for an Operations Information and Research Manager. This person will be responsible for gaining a thorough understanding of; RaceTrac Operations, systems used by Operations, and Store Support Center systems used to support Operations. Familiarity with Retail Systems and POS Journal Data is required. Cognos will be trained in-house. This Manager must be flexible, highly analytical and be able to see a problem from all angles. The candidate must be able to transform data into a business opportunity, recommend a business solution, and assist field management in tracking progress. The candidate will also be responsible for the evaluation of reporting used by operations and recommend and replace with more meaningful and effective reports.
The Operations Manager will also serve as a back up for several functions in Operations Support.
Skills Needed: MS Excel, MS Access.
Additional Skills that would be Helpful but not Required: Statistical Analysis methodology, Cognos, MS SQL
