Operations Manager - Carol Stream, IL

This position is an autonomous, multi-functional, hands-on management opportunity without layers between the Manager and the direct labor group.

Job Responsibilities:
oHaving overall accountability/responsibility for all aspects of Operations including but not limited to: Production, Facilities, Systems, Logistics, Materials, Health & Safety and Employment.
oHands-on supervisory position. Supervision and problem solving of operations and workflow issues. Resolving day-to-day issues.
oTraining of new operators and cross-training of current operators.
oEnsuring productivity of Operations staff. Tracking and reporting productivity numbers. Maintaining a productive environment.
oPromoting a safe workplace environment.
oProviding effective communication to Operations Associates.
o5-7 years of direct experience managing a large sized (60+ employees) direct labor population
oSolid analytical skills required.
oExperience w/Process Management, Inventory Control, Quality Assurance in a production environment.
oResourceful and have excellent problem-solving skills in all areas of responsibility.
oAble to clearly communicate expectations and issues
oProficiency in applications such as internet, email, Word, Excel. Also needs experience in hooking up systems, and in first-level troubleshooting.
oMust have a ?can do? attitude with a sense of urgency and dedication to the success of the operations.
oAbility to drive company vehicle. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Education:
o College degree preferred.
