Operations Manager-Documentation

Summary:

The Operations Manager-Documentation is responsible and accountable for establishing proper methods of booking and training in direct correlation with business focus and new program specifications.  The Operations Manager-Documentation will be responsible for hiring, educating, and motivating Documentation Specialists and will monitor incentive award compensation in helping drive the department toward the company goal.  A critical aspect of this position is to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of customer invoicing.

 

Responsibilities:

Directly control all departmental operations, including short and long-term goals:

o  Manage the Documentation Specialists.

o  Track booking accuracy and timeliness in accordance with turnaround times.

o  Sign all leases up to $100K. 

o  Support the development of Documentation Specialists to obtain lease signing authorities in correlation to performance.

o  Work with I/T and Accounting to implement new technology in InfoLease which will enhance the proper booking and ensure correct accounting of transactions.

o  Conduct daily & month end audits of all bookings to ensure compliance with P&P.

o  Assist Credit, Customer Service, and Accounting with any transaction regarding credit, documentation, funding, and subsequent selling and assumption processing.

o  Monitor skill development of the respective Documentation Specialists, set department goals and objectives, measure and incent accordingly.

o  Monitor and control all policies and procedures.

o  Conduct monthly staff meetings.

o  Assume job responsibilities in the absence of the other Operations Managers.

 

Actively participate in the hiring, education and motivation of all Operations members.  Hire, train, and develop a high caliber team of Documentation Specialists.

 

Actively engage and participate in the necessary leadership involved in supporting and complementing the department?s and company?s goals and objectives. 

 

 

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

o  Bachelors Degree required and 3+ years direct management experience.

o  Equipment leasing experience required.

o  Strong management, motivational, and interpersonal skills.

o  Excellent customer service skills.

o  Excellent writing, speaking and listening skills, with good presentation skills.

o  Excellent processing/organizing skills.

o  Excellent team building skills.

Technical/Functional Skills and Knowledge:

o  Strong PC proficiency using MS Office.

o  Knowledge of InfoLease, a plus.

o  Mathematical Skills:  Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, interest, and commissions.  Knowledge of HP17B or HP12C and T-Value is a plus.

o  Strong ability to communicate/build relationships with people.

o  Ability to solve practical problems.

o  Detail oriented.

o  Ability to work in a fast paced environment and perform multiple tasks.
