Position Title   Operating Partner

Reports To  President

 

The Operations Partner assumes management responsibilities for the business unit. Directs, coordinates, and participates in supervision, preparation, cooking, packing, customer service, driving, phone personnel, and all other necessary operational functions of the store. Also, fully responsible for control functions, personnel functions and marketing functions.

 

Job Functions

 

As Operations Partner you are in charge. Functional responsibilities are:

l  Raise sales while maintaining controllable costs within guidelines.

l  Complete and post employee work schedules for all personnel.

l  Observe all personnel for uniform and appearance compliance.

l  Communicate all pertinent information on food, pricing, customers, and other job related topics to employees.

l  Check food preparation and customer service areas for cleanliness and visibility standards.

l  Supervise and/or participate in food preparation and service operations to ensure quality control and efficiency.

l  Supervise and/or participate in all areas of customer service, customer call backs, and resolving customer conflicts.

l  Generate, collect, and review daily and weekly business reports for compliance with standards, track and forecast sales, determine cash flow, and plan purchase of supplies and food.

l  Coordinate and supervise the cleaning and maintenance of the facilities and equipment.

l  Train and develop management staff.

l  Interview, hire, train and evaluate personnel.

l  Coordinate and supervise deliveries. Responsible for all inventory functions.

l  Report Key Indicators on weekly basis as designated by corporate office.

l  Develop and account for annual budgets and cost controls.

l  Supervise and participate in all marketing activities to include, door hanging, business to business, identifying local opportunities, and direct mail.

l  Responsible for safe access, money handling, and daily deposits, and for store security and safety.

Education

Prefer two (2) year associate degree or bachelor?s degree from four (4) year college or certification in food industry programs. Excellent speaking and writing skills. Ability to analyze key business performance indicators.

 

Experience

A minimum of two (2) years quality management experience in restaurant establishment as a general manager or kitchen manager.
