Order Operations Manager

The Order Operations Manager offers a tremendous opportunity to join our worldwide sales operations team. In this a role, you will interact with multiple departments including Finance, Operations and Marketing across multiple lines of business.

 

Overview: Manages the order entry and contract review processes.  Ensures orders are booked and processed in SAP correctly per company policies.  Management of SAP Master Data.  Management of the worldwide order entry staff.  Management of backlog, backlog reporting and on-time delivery matrix.  Management of the Distributor Compensation Process.  Various projects as defined.

 

Primary responsibilities:Management of Order Entry Staff.Works closely with the Finance Revenue Recognition team to ensure orders are reviewed and all documentation is provided. Maintain and own the backlog with sales support and manufacturing, ensuring weekly backlog meetings, action items are published and accurate shipment dates in SAP.Manages SAP Sales & Distribution Module.  Ensures clean and accurate master data for material, customers, etc.Responsible for SOX404 & ISO Documentation pertaining to the contract review process.Responsible for Vendor Order ProcessingResponsible for Distribution Commission process and SOX404 compliance.Management of On-Time delivery process and reporting.Interface between IT and Field Operations concerning all IT projects; including management of Projects and issue resolution.Coordinate and manage within Field Ops any upgrade or project testing, sign off and cutover plans.Management of the Security Profiles, Approvals and Testing for SAP SD and CRM

 

Requirements includeBachelor?s degree in business or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years experience in order operations/management, with 2+ years in supervisory or management role. Success factors include proven experience the following areas: attention to detail, multi-task and prioritize activities, exceptional customer service skills, quickly analyze situations and make sound decisions based on company?s policy, effective communication (verbal, presentation, and written) skills ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Prior experience developing processes that utilize technology to become more efficient, or develop alternative options, methods and training. Skilled in the use and knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.Understanding of SAP or similar enterprise wide system.
