Plant Manager - China
Plant / Operations/ Site Manager - We are searching for a professional with world-class manufacturing experience to fill this position. Our client is an excellent international corporation who is the leader in their field of manufacturing . This position will be based in Shanghai, China with responsibility for all operations management at their Shanghai facility. You must be willing to relocate to Shanghai, China to be considered for this opportunity. If you are a China native and currently living in the US, Europe, or Asia, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
Purpose & Primary Responsibility of Job: Responsible for all Manufacturing plant activities, objectives and budgeted goals for operations, safety, environmental, cost, quality, service, capital expenses and materials. Review operations, activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining goals and objectives. Initiate needed change to assure effective/efficient operations. Carry out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the Company polices and applicable laws. Lead organization in safety best practices, quality principles, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, supply chain management, engineering best practices, ISO, environmental best practices and data base management. Be a customer champion. Provide mentoring, employee development and growth opportunities for the entire workforce.
Education & Experience Required: Technical or Chemical Engineering degree, prefer advanced degree (MS or MBA) 10+ years of progressive Manufacturing leadership experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing experience, Black Belt a plus. Strong analytical skills. Prior experience in managing and developing employees. Ability to move into a General Manager position quickly.
MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK FLUENT MANDARIN AND ENGLISH.
