Plasma Center Manager

The Plasma Center Manager is responsible for managing the operations of a plasma collection facility, to include financial, marketing, administrative, regulatory, quality, HR and facilities management functions. Ensures and maintains center compliance with all federal, state, local and company specific regulations related to quality of product, employee and donor safety. Responsible for forecasting and attaining production and cost goals while assuring compliance with Baxter, local, and federal regulations. Provides leadership to ensure donor retention, high customer service levels, production monitoring and cost data. Administers compensation program and provides timely feedback to employees through the performance evaluation process and daily work practices. Works in collaboration with Regional Manager and management team to prepare for and host internal and external auditors and to ensure timely response and closure to audit observations. Helps manage the recruitment process for all levels of positions. Manages, mentors, leads, and develops talent within the center. Organizes and facilitates management, staff and committee meetings to communicate and encourage staff involvement. May assist in center production areas as needed and support and conduct management training. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a scientific or business discipline and a minimum of three years of work experience, preferably in a medical or other regulated field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience in plasma center operations is desirable. Effective interpersonal, leadership, organizational and technical skills. Ability to attract, retain, motivate and develop a team of diverse individuals. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize. Occasional travel required. Supervisory experience is preferred.
