Practice Administrator/General Manager

S. F. Bay Area's leading Lasik practice " Ellis Eye and Laser Medical Center" seeks an experienced Practice Administrator/General Manager.  This position involves managing personnel and physicians providing surgery at 6 Northern California Lasik Centers in San Jose, Santa Rosa, Sacramento, San Francisco and the East Bay.

 

Special emphasis will be given to skilled business and sales managers with experience overseeing and coordinating all aspects of expanding and managing a business and managing patient counselors and coordinating patient seminars.

 

This expanding multi-location Lasik surgery practice requires a dynamic individual with superior leadership skills, the ability to manage the daily operations of sales, accounting departments, in addition to managing a diverse multi-media marketing effort i. e. placing and producing radio/TV spots.  Sales incentives provide a significant amount of the compensation.

 

Some local travel is required.  This position reports directly to the Practice Director and Owner, therefore, the successful candidate must possess strong analytical skills in all phases of a medical practice's business activities, both front and back office.  In addition, this position requires the ability to supervise the preparation of monthly Practice Financial Statements and related reports and interface with the outside CPA's and consultants. HR proficiency will be a plus.
