Technocel, a communications accessories  packaging company in Simi Valley, CA is looking for a line supervisor within the Operations Department. 

 

Responsibilities:To develop and update production schedule based on customer orders and delivery requirementsTo supervise and coordinate the activities of up to 30 people to implement the production schedule in a cost effective manner.To ensure that quality products are packed and delivered per quality and customer requirementsTo work closely with other groups within Operations and other departments in meeting customer requirements.To initiate and complete the shipping documents per company procedures.To monitor the employees attendance and performance, and recommend action when necessary.To maintain, at all times, a professional work environment and code of conduct within the production line and in dealing with others within the organization.To evaluate current work methods and eliminate inefficiencies and waste.

 

Requirements:Supervisory and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and direct a work force accordinglyExperience working in a team environmentAbility to motivate and lead a work forceAbility to read and do basic math.Basic computer literacy including Outlook, Word, and ExcelAbility to operate lift truckBi-lingual English/Spanish a must
