We have the following position available at our DePere, WI Morning Glory Dairy facility:

 

PRODUCTION MANAGER

 

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Production Manager directs the day-to-day operations of the production departments, ensuring the production of the highest quality product at the lowest possible price, while meeting customer delivery requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

 

Other responsibilities include: Coordinate production planning and scheduling to ensure the on‑time production,  interviewing, hiring, and training employees; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; administering the union contract; back up production supervisors as needed; etc. Some weekend and off-shift work required.

 

Requires an associate degree or two years of college and five to seven years of progressively responsible related experience; or a combination of education and experience. We require previous supervisory experience, and strong leadership and organization skills.  Prior experience with dairy products and dairy processing equipment is preferred, with knowledge of GMP?s, HACCP and OSHA. Must be able to work in a high-tech and fast paced environment.
