Production Operations Manager

As the Production Operations Manager, you will ensure the stability, maintainability as well as the scalability of the US MTP. Work closely with Support Managers and Production Manager to deliver a quality service to clients in a reliable and efficient manner. Deploy new products and services consistent with company goals. Define and document infrastructure operating processes, procedures and give appropriate training. Provide leadership, direction and mentoring to team. Create and track key performance indicators with the goal of continuous improvement. Oversee the supervision of personnel, which includes work allocation, training, and problem resolution; evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions; motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance. Assist in the creation of the operational budget, track performance to actuals and take corrective action if appropriate. Must be available 7 x 24 and the ability to travel globally.

Qualifications :
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: 1. Bachelors in a related field. 2. Minimum 2 years experience managing technical teams. 3. Minimum 3-5 years experience directly related to the technical tasks as outlined in the job description. 4. Project management experience required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: • Understanding of change management methodologies and their importance to revenue assurance. • Ability to prepare detailed department reports and metrics for senior management. • Knowledge of the telecommunications industry, specifically the SMS messaging side of networks. • Ability to manage multiple projects and issues simultaneously. • Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments. • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. • Well developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a highly international team. • Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures. • Understanding of TCP/IP, networking, client/ server applications, • Knowledge of protocols SMTP, HTTP, SSH, SNMP • Understanding of XML, Perl and Shell Scripting Please respond to
