Production & Materials Planning Manager - Tulsa, OK



 

Responsibilities:Manage production & materials planning, purchasing, materials control, and warehouse functions for manufacturing facility. Generate capacity feasible production schedules to support demand requirements.  Issue weekly schedules and update as required. Identify & implement material planning strategies within Oracle. Coordinate with purchasing, manufacturing, project management and engineering to achieve customer required delivery dates.  Pro-Actively communicate across organization scheduling issues and opportunities. Manage MRP data and ensure optimization of output. Responsible for inventory value of $20 - 50MM and purchase volume of ~$15-30MM annually. Develop Production & Material Plans to support business objectives including customer service, on-time delivery, inventory turn, cost, etc? Generate Inventory Turns and on-time delivery metrics and manage improvement. Manage the creation and closure of WIP jobs.  Analyze material cost variances. Develop, implement and maintain an Inventory Cycle Count program that achieves 99% accurate inventory levels.  Ensure material control throughout facilities. Analyze data and publish reports on key performance metrics. Develop, implement and maintain department work procedures.  Identify and implement process improvement ideas.

 Requirements:BA/BS w. 7 - 10 years production & material planning management exp. 3+ yrs. Supervisory exp. 3 ? 5 years in a Capital Equipment manufacturing environment or equivalent CPM or CPIM Through knowledge of integrated business systems, Oracle preferred 10% Travel involved Must be US Citizen, Perm. Resident or Authorized to work in the U.S.No Sponsorship available. Prefer local candidates
