Program Manager - Early Intervention

The Program Manager is responsible for the overall management of assigned clients. Develops and oversee implementation and carryover of all Early Intervention plans, including evaluations, service provision and coordination. Sets performance standards and provides supervision, support and training as necessary for staff to satisfy program compliance. Sets and evaluates staff performance, provides feedback, guidance and/or discipline, as appropriate.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The position requires a Masters degree in Education and NYS Certification in Education. EI experience is required. Computer Skills.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Development, implementation and semi-annual review of EI Plans and the documentation of progress and evaluation of client?s satisfaction with the plan
Interviews and hires all EI personnel, including evaluators, clinical supervisors and service coordinators.
2. Provides initial orientation, supervision, training and assistance to all levels of EI personnel.
3. Monitors staffing schedule
4. Monitors and ensures scheduling of staff mandated training, certification and other clearances.
5. Directly works with EI staff in providing group or individual activities to program clients. Monitors community inclusion log for appropriate and daily documentation.
6. Oversees all financial systems. Monthly review and sigh-off of each ledger.
7. Conducts monthly inspection and follow-up.
8. Competes and documents notifications, investigations, and summaries for incidents in accordance with the Funders regulations.
9. Maintains client?s records in compliance with regulatory standards
10. Attends all relevant program and community meetings.
11. Ensures that all Agency and Funders regulatory procedures are implemented and observed, corresponding documentation filed.
12. Performs all other duties as assigned.
