We are focused on developing leaders with a broad base of business and cultural skills, along with a strong commitment to the values expressed in Our Credo. By choosing Cordis Corporation, you are choosing to positively impact the lives of millions of people each year! The PMO Program Manager will focus on driving the design and implementation of development project and technology portfolio processes across Cordis. Interacts with Senior Management to help manage the project and technology development pipelines within these organizations. This individual should demonstrate a thorough understanding of the NPC process, excellent facilitation and project management capabilities, and a broad understanding of the Cordis business (general management). Works with the PAC chairs at Endo, CNV and Cardio and the TAC chair to manage the review calendars and agendas for the phase reviews. Attend the PAC and TAC reviews and support the chairs to capture and communicate the decisions to the teams/organization. Ensure that the PACs and TAC members are following the process and provide ongoing refresher training as needed. Ensure that pre-read materials and presentations are sent out ahead of the PAC/TAC meetings per the guidelines. Capture and present ongoing feedback/metrics to improve the PAC/TAC review process. Work with the Strategic Marketing group of Cardio, Endo & CNV to assemble business cases for the R&D projects and prepare summary of the information for R&D SLT for portfolio review. Works with the project teams to prepare them for the phase reviews — provide the templates, preview the documents (if needed), provide objective counsel/facilitation on the format etc. Work with teams and functions to help resolve critical issues/questions prior to the phase reviews. Provide clarification to teams and function on their roles/responsibilities on an as needed basis. Work with the Cordis NPC Optimization initiative to oversee the overall program and report progress to the NPC Steering Committee. Develop and communicate the NPC Optimization implementation plan to the organization. Establish a continuous improvement plan and build/implement project management excellence at Cordis. 

Bachelors degree or higher and 7 or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. MS or MBA preferred along with Medical-Device or Pharmaceutical industry experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a must for this role. Multi-disciplinary background — business minded. Outstanding interpersonal skills — team building, listening and counseling.  Persuasive — ability to exert influence in various ways; excellent verbal and written communication skills; Flexible, creative and work in team environments
