Project Manager - Risk Assessment

Objective: Provide leadership, expertise and direction in the development and implementation of corporate risk management in the Lines of Business/Regions. The candidate must have strong motivation, communication, analytical and influencing skills and an extensive background in software and consulting environments. In addition, the ideal candidate will posses advance skills in bid and project risk management in an environment where they will challenge and advise Lines of Business Managers. Position Responsibilities: - Overall focus: ongoing roll-out, monitoring and improvement of Global and Local Risk Management in the Lines of Business/Regions in close coordination with the Director, Risk Management. - Manage ongoing communication, issues resolution and information-sharing with all other relevant risk management stakeholders within SAP representing the Lines of Business and/or Regions in cross-line of business risk scenarios to ensure complete, cohesive, integrated and accurate risk handling and risk reporting. - Prepare risk reports for the Lines of Business or Regions, follow up on uncertainties/open issues and provide comments, alternatives and facilitate solutions leveraging the Global/Local Risk Management network and Reporting System. - Support the escalation process, identify and recommend strategies and approaches to minimize SAP's risk exposure. - Support the Director, Risk Management in the preparation and execution of risk management plans and activities. - Establish and maintain key risk management contacts externally and within SAPs global/local network. - Provide relevant and appropriate dissemination of risk management information to Lines of Business and/or Regional staffs. - Leverage internal resources to support the deployment of the Global and Local Risk Management programs within the Lines of Business and Regions Basic Qualifications: Requires 3-5 years of field management experience in SAP Consulting, Services and Risk Management OR Requires 5+ years experience in finance, contracts, and legal. Travel Requirements: 20%
