Location: Houston, Texas, United States Overview: Shell Global Solutions originated as a research and technical service network to support the Shell Group activities worldwide. Today, Shell Global Solutions employs more than 4,500 people, with Shell Global Solutions (US) Inc. employing 1,200 experienced professionals in Houston at the Westhollow Technology Center. With technically innovative people and state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, Shell Global Solutions is a worldwide leader in the development and application of technology.
Shell Global Solutions is currently seeking a Project Manager in GSPW, Americas for its Houston, Texas location.
Responsibilities:
In this position you will be responsible for delivery of major capital projects throughout the Shell system.
Key Accountabilities Include:
Executing all phases of project development
Maintaining Front End Development (FED) and detailed design work for projects that are generally performed at Shell and EPC contractor?s offices in North America with implementation generally at existing Shell facilities in locations throughout the Americas
Supporting projects identified for Gas and Power in the USA
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must possess a Bachelor's Degree preferably in Chemical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering and have approximately 20 years experience in the Oil, Gas and Chemical industry with approximately 10 years field experience in project management, engineering & construction, or start-up.
Additional Requirements Include:
Strong experience with Project Management of large (EPC Contract) type projects $100MM and larger
