THE ROLE OF THIS JOB

?Support QTG Capital Projects by applying Extend Simulation Modeling software to new and existing QTG production lines, in order to predict & optimize the throughput of Line designs.
?Support the on-going QTG TE improvement efforts by applying Simulation Modeling, Failure Distribution Analysis and Factory Optimizer methodologies to predict the TE impact of line design modifications and equipment reliability improvements.
?Providing training and coaching support to project teams in the use of Early Management tools and methodologies.

THE ACCOUNTABILITIES AND KEY MEASURES OF THIS POSITION
?Support major QTG Capital Project development & preliminary line designs, by utilizing Extend Simulation Software to analyze & optimize the line throughput capabilities.

?Provide EM tool & Simulation training to specific QTG Engineers.

?Provide EM Coaching & Support for major project initiatives.

?Support the on-going TE improvement efforts by applying Extend Simulation Software, Failure Distribution Analysis & Factory Optimizer tools to predict the overall Line TE impact of specific equipment reliability improvements.

Key Measures:
?Accurate correlation between Simulation Models to actual line performance.
?TE Improvement recommendations based on Failure Distribution Analysis.
?Vertical start ups on Capital Projects.
?Support the QTG Supply Chain objects of 85% TE

GENERAL COMMENTS:
1.The capability of the EM pillar includes the documentation, training, case studies and coaching / facilitation of about 25 work processes. This includes: Overall engineering work process, Start up Management (CQV), vendor acceptance testing, design requirements, project review questions, defect prevention checklists, TPM pillar integration, simulation analysis, statistical tools for projects ? These systems form the backbone of how projects will be executed to accomplish vertical start across all success criteria.

2.This role has a wide scope of responsibility that impacts all plants, all engineering resources, all supply chain managers, and influences other functions that are involved in initiative management.

THE SKILLS AND TYPE OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
-Experience in developing of computer-aided Simulation Models (Extend Simulation Software experience - preferred)
-Experience in manipulating & analyzing Line Downtime Data.
-Experience in Factory Optimizer Tools & Methodologies.
-excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD)
+ years of experience in Engineering / Project Management / Project Start-ups / Operations.
-Hands-on experience in the application of Early Management tools & methodologies. (Preferred)
-Excellent communication and training skills.
-Overall TPM knowledge. (Preferred)
-BS degree in Engineering.
