Quality and Safety Manager

Responsibility Summary:  Total Filtration Services, a division of CLARCOR, has an immediate opening for a Quality and Safety Manager, working out of our corporate headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan.  This position is responsible for documenting and maintaining the Quality System to be in compliance with ISO9001/2000 & 14001 requirements.  He/she will manage and coordinate the Safety and Environmental Program at all TFS facilities and will coordinate and assist in facility and vehicle related preventative maintenance repair requirements at all TFS locations. 

 ISO

? Ensure processes are documented to comply with ISO9001/2000 requirements and accurately reflect day-to-day operations

? Ensure the Quality System is implemented and maintained

? Ensure the Corrective Action Reporting System is maintained

? Hold management review meetings and ensure minutes are recorded and maintained

? Schedule internal audits and ensure that they are carried out effectively and on time

 

Safety & Environmental

? Ensure all TFS locations are compliant with OSHA and TFS Safety standards

? Identify and develop additional safety initiatives where needed

? Ensure all environmental compliance issues are identified and compliance is maintained

? Ensure compliance and collection of all monthly walk-thrus for all branch locations

? Participate in all safety conference calls and monthly train-the-trainer meetings

 

Facilities & Vehicles

? Ensure all facilities go through proper channels regarding building repairs and upgrades and assist the appropriate managers with repair and upgrade requirements while ensuring we stay within applicable lease contract requirements.

? Document all environmental requirements and ensure we are in compliance.  Provide CLARCOR corporate with all requested compliance information.

? Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules and licensing requirements for all delivery and service vehicles and assist the appropriate manager with coordinating approvals for repair requirements.

 

General Qualifications and Industry Experience:

? Strong knowledge of the ISO9001/2000 requirements and experienced in internal audit techniques

? Experienced in implementing and maintaining safety programs



? ISO experience highly preferred



? Health and Safety experience preferred
