Receiving/Warehouse Supervisor

The successful candidate will have the following:

?

5 years minimum experience in receiving/warehousing or related field; working knowledge of Internet, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, as well as ERP operating systems.? Must be certified to operate powered lift equipment; bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred, but not required.

Some of your key responsibilities would be:

?Direct, coach, train and motivate receiving and warehouse employees through 'on-floor' management.? Maintain harmony and teamwork among employees;Oversee and audit receiving activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, integrity, and timeliness of incoming shipments;Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, develop alternative solutions, work well in group problem-solving situations, and use reason even when dealing with emotional topics;Develop strategies to achieve organizational goals; understand organization's strengths and weaknesses;? Adapt strategy to changing conditions;Exhibit instructions and respond to management direction;take responsibility for own actions. Expected to work additional hours when necessary to reach goals;Document/review job and quality requirements in receiving with quarterly improvements implemented;Manage employee work hours to meet daily warehousing and receiving requirements.? Cross-train employees to ensure flexibility to meet workload demands;Interact with the Shipping Supervisor in a daily basis to prioritize incoming?to ensure product is unloaded and received in Macola for our customer shipments in a timely manner;Maintain a Matrix database system for the receiving department to reflect number of hours, labor and products being unloaded on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis; work with manager to ensure database is capturing needed information.Enforce staff's adherence to Hampton's safety and housekeeping standards;Maintain supplies necessary to ensure efficient operation of receiving and warehouse departments;Perform tasks or other necessary assignments not related to job description to meet common objectives of the company.
