Reconciliation Specialist - International Operations - United Kindom Support

The ideal candidate has previous accounting or bookkeeping experience in addition to operations experience. The candidate will directly support the firm's home office, branch and clients in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities
Timely and accurate completion of cash related responsibilities including UK bank reconciliation, bank transfers, client account transfers, and client debits. In addition, provide backup coverage on various trade, custody, or corporate action functions to support department needs.

Utilize daily reports to ensure cash transfers comply with firm and UK Financial Services Authority rules and regulations. Monitor cash transactions processed through particular departments and systems. Identify, research and resolve out of balance transactions.

Effectively communicate cash exceptions to branch and internal departments, and work in partnership to ensure timely resolution.

Become and expert in key responsibilities and generate ideas to improve process workflow and efficiency.

Requirements:
-Above average Excel spreadsheet and file management skills e.g., create, revise, move, sort, filter, etc.
-Excellent organization and time-management skills.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills.
-Consistently delivers results.
-Understands various cash functions e.g., debit, credit, general ledger, balancing.
-A bachelor's degree is preferred.
