SR. Operations Manager

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

?  Responsible for multiple areas in operations to meet department goal and objectives.  Assists to plan, organize, and implement functional procedures in accordance with quarterly and annual budgets

?  Actively lead/participate in margin improvement and product cost reduction opportunities.

?  Provide leadership in the areas of engineering, project management, contract fabrication, purchasing throughout all EWT Americas.

?  Provide sales support in the following: budget pricing, specification review, sizing, sales, drawing, detailed estimates, reference material, sales calls, contract negotiation, and delivery schedules.

?  Ensure efficient execution of Sales

?  Job review, Scope definition, assists in booking

?   Customer contact, GA Submittals, Sales order engineering

?  Purchasing and Sourcing of Sales order specific items (to be defined)

? Change Orders, Back charges resolution, warranty resolution, and assist in invoicing and collections  

?  Deployment of all applicable product, business process standards and automation tools within the group.

?  Ensure appropriate support to regions

?  Provide technical support to the areas of engineering and materials to other departments.

?  Participate in the development of product, business process standards and automation tools.

?  Support and participate in training initiatives-engineering, project management, Develops and monitors budget for area of responsibility.

?  Coaches, counsels and motivates personnel to meet objectives.  Measures and communicates employee?s performance.

?  Create a high performance culture within the group

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

 

?  B.S. Degree in Engineering, Business or related field.  Requires 10+ years experience in manufacturing environment with 5 + years management experience.

?  Thorough knowledge of EWT equipment, markets, customers and competitors.

?  Proven record of high performance and achievement of results.

?  Ability to lead a team of experienced professionals with diverse functional background.

?  Experience in different functional area strongly desired and good attention to detail.

?  High result orientation and a strong focus on achieving schedules and targets.

?  Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team of highly experienced and skilled professionals.
