Senior Associate - IS Product Support

Your job will entail overseeing daily operations of the Diversified Returns Strategy (DRS) program, including account opening and maintenance, allocation changes, legal changes of ownership and terminations. You will assist with projects related to the transfer of the DRS product to the Strategic Wealth Portfolio (SWP)platform. You will also be involved in UAT testing of downstream systems. You will also assist in the development of procedures to streamline DRS account openings and maintenance and to research individual securities to determine DRS program eligibility. Your job will include maintaining the Firm's non-proprietary Hedge Fund Referral Program and pre-qualify clients for hedge fund investments. You will work closely with management to oversee the day to day workflow in investment operations. You will be responsible for the review and appeal of the re-open STAR communication application between the branch and IS. You will communicate with senior management on significant issues that arise. You will help with issues related to new strategies and product introduction, as it pertains to account set-up, maintenance and workflow. You will review time sensitive branch requests and assign to the appropriate liaison, investigate and work with brokerage operations to solve time sensitive issues necessary for limiting firm liability and contribute to the annual employee performance review.

Basic Qualifications
You are a professional with a college degree and knowledge of industry regulations (Basic IRS rules, ERISA rules, Client suitability, Etc...). You have strong time management, organizational, problem solving, communication, interpersonal, project management and negotiation skills. You are proficient with the GIM2 trading system and all related report functionally. You are extremely advanced in Microsoft Excel and proficient in the other Microsoft applications. You possess the ability to work independently as well as part of a team and with various departments and levels.
