Senior Director of Ad Operations (print & online advertising)

 

TechTarget is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as Senior Director of Ad Operations.  The Vice President is responsible for the overall success of print and online advertising operations including Campaign Management, Inventory Management and Trafficking.  Reporting directly to the president, the ideal candidate will be a proven leader capable of working in a fast paced environment.

 

Essential Job Functions:

 Oversee and direct operations for campaign management, trafficking, and inventory management consisting of 40 person staff;Develop, implement and streamline pre and post sales process for online and print campaign execution;Reengineer and establish quality controls and six sigma processes for the successful execution of our suite of online ad products;Effectively communicate process changes, improvements, and developments to sales and sales related groups;Work with the technical team on developing business requirements for systems improvements, scalability and business process automation;Establishes, implements and administers operating policies consistent with corporate objectives and ensures their execution;Oversee client management and issues resolution as required; Develop infrastructure and capacity planning to meet company growth and objectives;Increase customer satisfaction;Ensure maximum revenue is recognized through weekly delivery reconciliation reporting;Manage relationships with outside vendors including ad serving and webcast platform vendors; and, Manage budget



Knowledge, skill and abilities required:

 5 ? 10 years experience in operations, preferably online, with increasing levels of management responsibility;BA/BS required, concentration in Operations Management or general business preferred;Strong leadership and mentoring abilities;Strong verbal and written communication skills;Ability to multi-task and proven ability to adapt to change;Superior problem solving and organizational skills;Ability to rely on staff of experts to understand pertinent information and make decisions;Effective client management skills, using diplomacy and understanding of client needs as well as strong problem solving to present best solutions;Hands-on manager with the ability to effectively delegate;Firm understanding of how to maintain a strong and positive corporate culture that reflects the overall values of the organization; Solid experience in general staff management and well-developed mentoring, coaching, directing, delegating, evaluating, and daily management of staff to maximize efficiency, productivity and employee satisfaction; and, Six Sigma training is a plus
