Senior Manager - Sales Operations

Description:   Avis Budget Car Rental, LLC, formerly known as Cendant Car Rental Group, is searching for a Senior Manager - Sales Operations who will contribute to the success of  our organization by planning, directing and controlling the activities of two key support departments ? Sales Administration, providing key support to field sales and sales operations personnel and Change Control, maintaining data integrity in rental operation systems.

 

Successful candidate will be one who is well balanced in terms of operational, financial and organizational abilities. They will be a person who will assess need for change, implement change and become an integral part of the organization and their team.  They will also possess advanced skills in verbal and written communications, including the ability to take complex information and make it clear and easily understood by all.

 

Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

?Establishing departmental priorities and procedures to maximize the timely, efficient and accurate completion of all departmental work and minimize negative impact on systems/sales operations.

?Ensuring all department work is handled in a timely, efficient and extremely accurate manner.

? Working with managers implementing change, to effectively communicate and administer policy changes to employees and customers.

?Preparing annual operating budget by compiling    and analyzing actual cost data and projecting

future costs.

 


Qualifications:

?Bachelor?s degree or 7 years experience at the managerial level managing multiple departments.

?  5 years experience in a management position including both direct and indirect reports.

?  Computer experience utilizing Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

?  Experience using Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets utilizing formulas, macros and workbooks.

?  Experience in project management as well as short term and long planning.
