As a Senior Operations Center Manager, you will:Provide leadership, performance management and support to the IT Infrastructure team.Mentor, educate and train IT personnel in leadership skills, accountability and communication.Develop a culture of urgency and ownership within the Operations Center organization.Manage local and remote data centers following industry best standard practices, ensuring 24x7 availability and redundancy and Data Security.Maintain accurate DC inventories of equipment.Own Change Management, Incident Management, Capacity Management and Availability Management disciplines.Participate in IT audits as required.Champion process improvements within the IT department.Manage escalations of critical technology issues impacting Kaplan business and customer facing systems.Work with business leaders to gather the best business requirements possible, translate them into tangible/viable technical objectives and calculate business benefits and ROI.Closely manage large, cross-functional IT projects and programs.

Qualifications:
10+ years of progressive, demonstrated leadership experience in Operations Center expertise. ITIL Certification is a plus.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or related field.Experience with a 24x7 Tier 1 Data Center.The ideal candidate will have experience in managing both Microsoft and J2EE / Oracle web environments.Working knowledge Cisco routers, switches, firewalls; internet connectivity, load balancers, network management tools and LAN/WAN configurations.Strong knowledge of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity best practices and their application.Exposure to VOIP technology and practical application. Knowledge of IT governance requirements, compliance and security best practices.Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication as well as project management skills.Experience with MS Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint would be a plus.Strong execution skills and a "must succeed" attitude - a must.You'll receive great benefits, health and life insurance, 401K plan, medical savings account, vacation, personal days, and more.
