Shift Manager

We are looking for a Shift Manager interested in growing their career with ADVO, Inc. in our Los Angeles area (Compton, CA) production facility.

This position works typically on Thursday - Monday. Occasional shift rotation may be required.

DESCRIPTION
If you have a minimum of five years of progressive experience in operations or manufacturing management, a proven record of employee development, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, solid cross-functional teaming experience and strong MS Office skills, you should consider becoming an ADVO associate.

A Bachelors degree in Business, Operations Management or a related Bachelors Degree is required.
Bilingual language skills in Spanish are preferred but not required.

The Shift Manager is accountable for meeting production goals in addition to ensuring that company specific training and technical assistance is provided to machine operators and their crews. Further accountabilities include motivating, coaching, and leading production associates towards more efficient and self sustaining work teams. The Shift Manager will administer and maintain company policies, guidelines, and production documentation that supports daily operations while ensuring a safe work environment.
