Site Quality Leader

CITY: Houston STATE: Texas COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
The successful candidate in this leadership role will direct the Site Quality Management System and will be responsible for site compliance covering voluntary, regulatory and company quality requirements as well as champion quality initiatives.
He/she will:
* Maintain and improve all aspects of Site Quality Planning.
* Oversee communications and training requirements for Quality matters to all site personnel.
* Establish and maintain positive relationships with outside agencies.
* Host Quality System audits and inspections.
* Lead Corrective Action/Preventive Action activities.
* Prepare and execute facility Quality Management Reviews.
* Drive the definition of site quality objectives, metrics, reporting and operating mechanisms.
* Participate in selected global initiatives for best practice sharing and quality synergies.
* Be the primary communicator for quality issues, initiatives, and practices.
* Support local R&D programs and quality issue resolution.

Qualifications/Requirements:
* BS in Quality or Manufacturing Engineering or related engineering discipline
* Minimum 3 years work experience with Quality, preferably in the sensing and measurement device industry.
* Proven history of performing & leading internal and external audits
* Solid understanding of ISO9001 or AS9100 and other similar quality certifications.
* Ability to read, analyze and interpret business plans, technical procedures and domestic and international government regulations and voluntary standards.
* Effective report, business correspondence and procedure-writing skills.
* Effective process development and project management skills.
* Good problem identification, analysis and solving skills.
* Strong computer skills.
* You must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
* You must be willing to take a drug test as part of the selection process.
* You must be willing to submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process.
