Sourcing Director

Position Description : Wyndham Worldwide is seeking an experienced sourcing director to identify sourcing opportunities supporting the operations of the 10 brands of hotels. The individual will negotiate with suppliers to optimize competitive pricing for the franchise community with revenue generation.  Experience in the area of purchasing, e-procurement, and contract negotiations in the hospitality industry is required. We are seeking an energetic individual that can deliver immediate value and be a strong team player.  Responsibilities: ? Able to write complex RFI, RFQ, RFP, SOW and communicate to vendors.? Skilled at conducting thorough RFI, RFQ and RFP analysis for effective evaluation of suppliers.? Negotiates tough agreements (e.g. starting positions are far apart) and settles disputes equitably with both internal and external groups. ? Working knowledge of e-Commerce processes.Assesses the complexity, steps and time involved in a request, sets objectives and goals. Accurately scopes out length and difficulty of tasks and projects? Has general working knowledge of legal requirements relating to assigned areas of responsibilities (restrictions, guidelines, general laws, contracts, confidentiality, corporate identity, directives).? Knows how to research, analyze, evaluate and make decisions regarding processes, policies and strategies.  ? Can effectively communicate the impact of sourcing decisions to management and employees as appropriate.? Strong sales acumen? Develops tiered business cases based upon scenarios of easy-to-reach, medium and stretch goals. ? Defines impact of "deal" scenarios to end-users.? Skilled in planning and organization. Completes reports on time, meets committed deadlines regardless of shifting priorities.? Speaks confidently with department managers, staff members and senior-level managers.

Requirements: 
Bachelor’s degree required, graduate work a plus
Professional certification desirable (i.e., C.P.M.)
10 + years procurement experience
Hospitality experience preferred
Strong negotiation skills, knowledge of corporate and business unit contracts
Thorough knowledge of FF&E, services, commodities and/or food and beverage procurement
