Structured Documentation Specialist

There is a requirement for a Structured Credit Derivatives Documentation Specialist to join the US Credit Derivatives Operations team to help manage and develop the documentation process flow and enhance the product coverage within the US region. The position will be primarily based in Stamford, but there may be a requirement to spend time in New York, working with the CDO and Principal Finance desk.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

* Assist in the migration and development of new structured products documentation processes.
* Manage the daily drafting and control volume of new and outstanding trade documentation for the Credit Structured & Total Return Swap business.
* Develop a full understanding of Structured products and build close relations with Banking Product Services (BPS) in order to discuss and resolve documentation and process issues surrounding the Credit Structured & Total Return Swap business.
* Work closely with traders, Risk and internal control (BUC), legal and Operation groups to ensure timely; results, review and execution of documentation.
* Acquire expert knowledge of products traded by Structured product groups and work with respective business management to establish front to back controls and operational process models.
* Identify problems and inefficiencies within the current process, systems and work with IT and business management to provide solutions to enhance control, while reducing risk.
* Providing ad hoc assistance for requests made by traders, business management, and operations global management team.

This is a challenging role with significant exposure to operations and business management as well as trading desk. The role would ideally suit someone with a minimum of three to four years Credit/Structured Derivatives documentation experience, combined with excellent analytical, communication and organizational skills. Nice to have, detailed understanding of structured credit derivative products and ISDA definitions.

* Knowledge of Credit/Structured Derivatives Products

* Knowledge of ISDA Definitions

* Legal Experience a Plus
