Suptd- Assembly&Test

Implements, plans, and coordinates people and/or resources to meet organizational objectives. Reports to Executive staff.

1. Direct production activities through production supervisors and leaders to assure daily adherence to schedules and priorities;
2. Interact and cooperate with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Purchasing to improve product reliability;
3. Implement company policies and procedures;
4. Directly responsible for safety and welfare in his/her division;
5. Assist in determining manpower requirements;
6. Take an active part in union/management grievances;
7. Instruct and follow-up with supervisors on disciplinary procedures;
8. Participate in and be actively involved in process improvements and cost reduction of manufacturing products.

1. Five years on-floor experience and manufacturing experience in a supervisory capacity;
2. Good verbal and communication skills;
3. Ability to direct supervisors and hourly employees;
4. Mechanical aptitude and knowledge to interact with people in all production areas;
5. Multiple task management ability.
