Vice President of Operations- Education K-12 - Northeast

ARAMARK Education K-12 delivers award winning, world class managed services to private and public school systems across the United States.  Our experts deliver exceptional food, nutrition and facility management services to include maintenance, custodial, grounds, energy, construction management, building commissioning, food management (production and delivery).  As a Vice President of Operations (VPO) you will provide leadership and direction to a regional team of district managers, who each direct a team of front line managers. Your role will have responsibility for all services offered within your geographical territory.  In this role the VPO will assist in establishing strategic operating and financial goals including budgeting and forecasting to ensure optimum profitability. The primary responsibility is multi unit management.  Other responsibilities include: Customer retentionBuilding base businessParticipating in the sales process Driving optimal performance on all new start-ups Talent selection, training and developmentPerformance evaluation and succession planningPartnering with IT, Finance, HR, Marketing and Service Line functionsBoard presentations and community involvement This role reports to the Regional Vice President and the territory includes: MA, RI, NY, CT, NH, ME 

Qualifications:Bachelor degree minimum7 plus years multi site operational management experienceDemonstrated progression of P&L responsibility Ability to build relationships with client partners and employeesStrong strategic planning abilities and experienceDocumented track record of developing leadersUnion experience a plusThis opportunity will require more than 50% travelIt is preferred that the person filling this role have a dining/food service management background/experience
