The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Manager is plan, organize and direct the daily transfer and various staging of product in and out of the distribution center.



  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

 Consistently communicate and encourage all direct reports to live up to standards set by the company?s mission and vision statements.Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training and on-going development (including goal discussions and performance evaluations) for all personnel in department.Coordinate and expedite the workflow and materials within or between warehouse departments.Reviewing and distributing workload and work assignments.Plan and monitor productivity.Compile reports on work progress, inventory levels, costs and production problems.Analyze and design systems for improving warehouse efficiency.Develop ideas to improve quality control, manufacturing, inventory control, employee safety and cost.Establish and maintain new employee orientation and training program.Develop and encourage growth of supervisors and workforce.
