Warehouse and Customer Service Operations Manager for Babeland, Sex Toys for a Passionate World

Babeland, the premier fun, feisty, and feminist sex toy company, is looking for a leader with experience in e-commerce to take charge of our Oakland warehouse. We need someone who will take an ownership-like attitude, ensuring that the workers have what they need to do their jobs, setting the highest standards of customer service, and planning for growth.

The Web Operations Manager coordinates a team of in-house co-workers and outside providers to make sure that our customers have the best shopping experience possible at Babeland.com, and that our infrastructure keeps pace with our sales growth. The shopping experience starts with the customers? interactions with the website and continues through delivery of the product ? every bit of that process comes under the umbrella of Web Operations. In order to carefully manage our growth, we?re looking for someone experienced with quantitative customer service analysis, process analyses, and website metrics. This person directly supervises the Warehouse Supervisor, Customer Service Supervisor, Oakland Office Coordinator, and Web Merchandiser and indirectly supervises the Fulfillment Crew. Most importantly, we need someone with strong leadership experience who can keep a diverse staff happy and motivated, and maintain morale while meeting business goals.

The Web Operations Manager has bottom line responsibility for customer service and warehouse operations, with additional responsibilities in website planning and maintenance. This person oversees the location infrastructure that keeps our website and fulfillment operations functioning, so technical experience is a must. We need someone who can evaluate IT choices and make sound decisions to ensure performance, reliability, and security.
